Good things take time, and we know that good tequila is in no rush at all. The name Solento is based on the Spanish translation of the words slow sun.
After growing slowly under the Mexican sun for seven years, the certified organic agave is harvested in small batches from a single estate in Amatit*n, Jalisco. The agave hearts will cook for two days in stone ovens before being pressed to release their precious juices. Fermented and distilled naturally, the tequila comes out pure in flavor, andin its aged versionsgains complexity from American oak barrels.
After aging for 18 months in American Oak barrels, Solento A*ejo earns smooth notes of buttery maple, toasted hazelnuts, and a hint of oak. Solento Anejo is made from 100% USDA certified organic blue agave. They recommend enjoying this a*ejo neat.
